Privacy policy
1. Controller
Fiperly, KI-Entwicklungsgesellschaft, proprietor Michael Bertelsen, Gülitzer Str. 25, 19348 Gülitz-Reetz, Germany, e-mail: info@fiperly.de
2. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, on servers in Germany. Each time the site is accessed, the data transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, truncated IP address, date and time of the request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and error-free operation). The data is not combined with other sources and is deleted after 7 days at the latest. A data processing agreement is in place with STRATO.
3. No cookies, no advertising, no third-party fonts
This website does not set any cookies and does not use any advertising services. To see how many people visit our pages, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). The service works without cookies, does not store IP addresses, builds no user profiles and does not track you across other websites; it only records aggregated data such as the page visited, referring page, country, browser and load time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Fonts, images and videos are loaded exclusively from our own server, not from third parties. Technically necessary and permitted without consent: after an order, your browser remembers the chosen language in local storage, and a small background script (service worker) lets you use the site as an app. Both stay on your device and are not sent to us or third parties. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
4. Trial recording in the browser
On the home page you can record a voice message as a trial. For this, your browser asks for access to the microphone. The recording stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. It disappears as soon as you close the page.
5. Share buttons
The share buttons (WhatsApp, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram) are simple links. No data is transmitted to these services when the page loads. Only when you click a button does the respective service open, and its privacy terms then apply.
6. Ordering a newspaper
When you order a newspaper, we process your e-mail address and your details about the birthday celebrant: first name, date of birth, place of birth, whether the person is a woman, a man or a child, preferences, your description of the person, your greeting, the sender and, if you wish, a photo, a video or a voice message. The purpose is to create and deliver your newspaper and the greeting page. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). Please only provide details about the birthday celebrant with which, in your judgement, they would be happy, and no health data or other particularly sensitive information.
7. Payment via Digistore24
Payment is handled by Digistore24 GmbH, St.-Godehard-Straße 32, 31139 Hildesheim, as the seller. Digistore24 does not pass your payment data on to us. We only receive the order number, your name, your e-mail address and confirmation of payment. The processing carried out by Digistore24 is governed by its privacy policy.
8. Greeting page
Each newspaper comes with a personal greeting page with a photo, video or voice message, the hit of the day and the newspaper to browse through. It can only be reached via the link or QR code in the newspaper and is blocked for search engines. Twelve months after the order, we automatically delete the greeting page together with all uploaded photos, videos and voice messages. You keep the PDF of the newspaper.
9. Reminder for the next birthday
If you tick the box for the reminder, we will send you a single e-mail two weeks before the next birthday. For this purpose, we store your e-mail address and the first name and date of birth of the birthday celebrant. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time, by a short e-mail to us or via the unsubscribe link in the reminder. After the e-mail has been sent or you have withdrawn your consent, we delete these details.
10. Contact by e-mail
If you write to us, we process your details in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). We delete them once the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
11. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3)). To exercise them, write to info@fiperly.de.
12. Right to lodge a complaint
You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und für das Recht auf Akteneinsicht Brandenburg, Stahnsdorfer Damm 77, 14532 Kleinmachnow.
