60th Birthday Gift: The Newspaper from the Day They Were Born

At sixty you have experienced a lot and enjoy talking about it. The newspaper from the birthday gives the starting point: what was in the news, which song was playing, what was the weather like? A gift people talk about over coffee for an hour.

A look inside the paper

A sample Birthday Paper: front page with photo and lead story, news of the day, weather and hit song, calendar page, birthday twins and a personal message.

Three ideas for giving it

Something to talk about. Read the headlines aloud over birthday coffee. It is surprising what the older people at the table still remember.
For retirement. If they are about to leave work, the paper goes well with a card from colleagues. Their greetings go on the greeting page.
With the hit of the day. Play the number-one hit of the birthday at the party. The greeting page links to it directly.

What comes with it
