70th Birthday Gift: The Newspaper from the Day They Were Born

Seventy years are a long journey. The newspaper from the day of birth tells where it began: in the years of rebuilding, with the news that parents read at breakfast back then.

A look inside the paper

A sample Birthday Paper: front page with photo and lead story, news of the day, weather and hit song, calendar page, birthday twins and a personal message.

Three ideas for giving it

Printed large. Print the paper in A3 if you like. Larger type is easier to read, and the pages look like a real newspaper.
The family speaks. Children and grandchildren record their greetings on the greeting page. A QR code in the paper leads there; a phone is all it takes.
Read aloud. A grandchild reads the lead story at the party. A lovely moment everyone remembers.

What comes with it

The newspaper as a PDF, 4 to 10 pages, always €14.90
A greeting page with voice or video message, online for twelve months
A photo of the birthday guest on the front page, if you upload one
An article of its own about the person, from your details

How it is all made and where the news comes from is explained on the page How your paper is made.
